The Foundation’s many projects include the Chiang Mai Disabled Center; the Freedom Wheelchair Workshop; a rural and remote area free home visit program covering 6 Provinces of north Thailand (providing wheelchair maintenance and physical therapy); and an extensive Thai language self-help publishing program. The Chiang Mai Disabled Center and Freedom Wheelchair Workshop are located together in the center of old Chiang Mai, ½ block from the Sunday walking street at Rajapakinai Road, 133/1.  The Disabled Center and wheelchair workshop telephone number is:  66-053-213941.  The Foundation telephone number is:  66-053-852172.

The Chiang Mai Disabled Center currently includes traditional Thai massage services, a full service laundry, and a craft sales outlet.  The Freedom Wheelchair

Worskhop produces a broad variety of often individually designed mobility aids including 4-wheel wheelchairs; 3-wheel all terrain wheelchairs; reclining cerebral palsy wheelchairs;  wheeled gurneys; wheeled walkers, traditional walkers; ramps; crutches; and even electric wheelchairs by special order.  The staff of both the Chiang Mai Disabled Center and the Freedom Wheelchair Workshop include disabled persons who have been empowered to manage their own affairs.
